month: September 2010

So a few posts down you can see the “coming soon” of MC and Jake’s Wedding.  Honestly I am not even sure where to start.   We just LOVED everything about this wedding.  First off  MC and Jake were just too awesome and so beautiful and so in love.  When the groom cries…well, you know it’s going to be a good one.  LOL.  Sorry Jake.  Mary Catherine came to me first of the year for her big day and I was oh so happy she did.  We hit it off right off the bat.  I swear I could go on and on and on but if I say everything I want to say this post will be a novel!  So how about I tell you one more time how awesome this wedding/couple/families are and about the wonderful vendors there?

Thank yall for making me and my amazing assistant Luker feel so welcome!

Thank you so much to the amazing vendors that made this day what it was.

Norma and Pat at The Lee House were as always…WONDERFUL!

Melissa and her staff at the VERY popular and ALWAYS amazing Nancy’s Haute Affairs made everything run just perfect!

Shannon from Fiore did a beautiful job as always too!   The ceremony at Old Christ Church in downtown Pensacola was just so personable…must have been because Mary Catherine’s Daddy gave her away and performed the ceremony!

Oh and before I forget MC and Jake had a Gelato bar.  I know I have their card but must have left it with Luker, but don’t worry I WILL get you all that information.   Did I also mention that the whole reception had a “Italy” feel to it?  So cool!  Oh, and Linda (brides Mom) did ALL the center pieces.  The whole reception had extra special touches that just made it even more perfect!

So before I keep on and on….let’s start with a  LOT of details shall we.  Thanks again EVERYONE!

So when I was a Sr. in High School our pictures were made in like front of a wagon wheel or in front of sign that was the year we were graduating.  And NO I am not telling you what year that was.  LOL.  But now, the kids want more.  They want different, they want cool stuff, they want to look older and like they just popped out of a Holister ad.   WOW, I love it!  And Austin was just a dream.  I must admit young men are tougher than young women.  They usually just say take the pictures so my Mom will be happy.  LOL.  Austin was just a refreshing change.    He let me be more creative, he let me get to know him and what he likes before taking his images.  He was just GREAT and so was his super cool Mom and Dad.  And Pam, you know we are super cool Mom’s right?  LOL!  Ok, on to the images….Thanks yall, so much fun!

Well, it’s people like Dina and Mike is the reason I love my job.  I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding 5 years ago!  It was a pleasure then and it was a pleasure last week too!  I mean, when people come all the way from Virginia just to have their pictures made….LOL, ok, so that is not the ONLY reason but just thinking of me and planning way in advance just makes me so happy.  Thank yall once again!  It was such a pleasure seeing yall again!

God Bless!

Stay tuned for MUCH, MUCH more!  MC and Jake’s Wedding was fabulous and I have all the details coming soon…

You all have no idea how hard this is for me to even believe.  Before I was a REAL photographer my friend Greg (Kendall’s Daddy) let me practice on her.  LOL.  It was that four letter word F I L M and at the time I so thought they were great…I think she was like six years old maybe?  So happy to know that I got better and better as the years went by.  LOL!  Thank yall so much for letting me do this for yall.  I feel so old though.  Kendall has grown into a beautiful young woman and will soon journey into college and adulthood.  It just still seems so weird to me.   Kendall, it was fun, I really enjoyed just me and you driving around looking for places to shoot in that big ole city of Elberta!  (wink)

I mean really don’t ya love October?  Let’s see, it cools off a bit, the fair and all that yummy so not good for you food, Halloween, my BIG vacation AND Jessica and Josh’s Wedding.  I am so excited for their wedding I could just pop.  I bet I see at least 7 of my brides in the past there and no telling how many future ones.   LOL.  I love that, it feels like family almost.  Jessica and Josh  are so fun and so loving and so into adventure!  LOL, did I mention we had to take about a 20 minute boat ride to get to where Jessica wanted her pictures made?  I am telling ya I was LOVING it.  I must admit I had all my equipment and was a little nervous but really it was WAY fun!   Thanks Heavens Josh knows his boat.  Thank yall so much, I had a blast and again just cannot wait till October!

I mean really, is this child precious or what?  I was so happy I was able to see AK again and give a big ole hug to my long time WONDERFUL clients Leslie and Wes.   Oh and I got to see Gi Gi and Pappa too!  That is always a plus for me.  And Leslie and Wes had EXTRA special news to share.  AK is going to be a big sister to not one but TWO babies!   Who wants to do the happy dance with me?  LOL.  I am just thrilled for yall and I just cannot wait to see you again AND the whole family!    Thanks for always thinking of me.  God Bless yall!
